    Help gm e98 ecu

    Hi

I have a 2016 Colorado with a 2.8 duramax. We are trying to disable the egr valve but there is no obvious setting. In the earlier files for these motors there is an option for it. Obviously a different ecu.
    Any help would be great

Where are you based? Pretty sure the US based vehicles won't allow disabling the emissions functions.

That is why it is not in the software that I can see , as this will breach emissions laws in Australia also.

I did feel this would be case. it opens based on IAT and TPS, I will investigate a way to trick it.

One other option for you is to physically block the EGR path, eg, plate or similar, then disable the P0401 DTC in the software. But in the meantime, you could probably send "stevo" from VCM a pm and ask him the question about the EGR.
