just curious if the ford pcms have the ability to change how much the idle is raised when the power steering pressure switch is active?
thought it may be a good work around for having a higher idle when the ac is on when using a barra pcm in a conversion.
unless anyone knows of another way to increase the idle when the ac is switched on through the cars original modules?
the barra pcm doesn't specifically know that ac has been turned on as the ac shit is handled between the icc and pcm, doesn't make much sense installing an icc when doing a conversion so in the past we have just had a slightly higher idle to cover when ac is switched on, it's mainly an issue when coming to a stop, the pcm doesn't seem to react quick enough and with enough force (i guess?) to stop the revs falling too much.
so perhaps there is another way to help resolve that?
