I had a mate that owned and run a successfull workshop and bought a dyno primarily to play with offsetting the cost against his substantial tax bill. So the ROI changes dramtically from a stand alone business and particularly when you can potentially draw customers to sevices supplied by your primary business.

Interesting your comments, I tune on the road and cars with 12 second 1/4 mile time or less are finished at the track so 100% road track. From your posts it appears you have identified a difference in the finished tune dyno to road/track logging tune which I agree with, so the obvious question is which is the better!
