    2016 Camaro SS Rev Limit

We seem to be having some difficulty raising the rev limiter in neutral on this car no matter what it is set at the car will not rev over 5000 rpm with the clutch engaged. The rev limit once the car is moving seems to be fine, just trying to leave harder on the starting line and car will not rev past 5000.

Are you in launch mode when it does it?
That data is in the BCM and not editable.

Not in launch mode when it does it. It will not rev past 5000 unless the car is moving.

there seems to be a table missing, like in the E38 PCM "wheel Speed Limit"

see if changing the General Limiter from GMLAN to Calibration

No luck with that, we just had an auto car in today and rev limits work fine on it.

Is there a table missing from the manual cars?

Keep foot off the clutch and should rev up!!

Interesting enough I have a 17 auto trying to shift at 7500 RPMs and we have a phantom rev limiter coming in around 7200rpms.. I think I have a fix but just have to test it!!

    I ran into this with a 2018 ZL1 1LE Manual car

    ENGINE > FUEL > CUTOFF,DFCO > RPM Limits > Misc > Commanded Torque
RPM Limit Torque vs RPM vs Gear

This table you would need to set Neutral to 6,042 (or another high number) or the car will never rev past about 5000 RPM in neutral. I believe that neutral counts for any gear if the clutch is depressed. But if it doesn't in your particular car you can set the whole table to max value and see if it gives you the desired result. If you're just trying to launch the car in 1st, try just 1st and neutral.

My client wasn't able to throw "mean revs" at the competition during roll races and parking lots in Mexico. Something I've never thought of lol. But I found this table fixed the "issue".

Manual transmission cars have launch assist tables that come into play and in some cases cause an issue like this (I don't think these tables are in hpt). Does it rev limit to 5000 RPM if the vehicle is moving slowly, like 10 MPH?

I'll try this tonight. Thank you!

I have a buddy I'm working on tweaking a tune for and he can't launch (manual) as it bogs really bad out the hole on radials. Couldn't quite figure out why, but this table seems like a good option to test, so I'm upping the torque for 1st and Neutral. He has a 2-step and also complained about not being able to get revs above 4300rpms (he's H/C/I/E80) when his 2-step was set to 5200.

This table is likely the fix for Ben's issue as well...
