    P167F DTC After Tune

    Hey guys,

Just got a 2016 f250 with the 6.7 and made a few minor tweaks to the tune (just removing - or trying to remove - some of the torque management stuff). After uploading my new tune I got a P167F Trouble code.

    P167F - Non-OEM Calibration Detected

Is there anyway around this? Didn't even realize there was such a thing. Even if there's no way to avoid the code, is there a way to turn off the CEL?

    Thanks!
    Jordan

Sorry for not doing a search before posting this, I see I'm not this first one with this issue. It was mentioned in that thread that this could be disabled in the DTC list. Can anyone help me on how I'd go about finding & modifying said list??

Okay, I found and disabled the DTC. Still be nice not to trigger it at all of course, but not a big issue.

    Thanks!

Hello I am having this pop up as well for a Very minor adjustment and correcting the speedo only.

Did you ever find the criteria for the trigger of this one?

Does this show up in an OBDII emissions scan as disabled?

I dropped an email to support to see if they had anything to say.

There is like Nothing useful that comes up in searches for this.

    Thx.
