I am working on a 2017 ZL1 A10. The car currently has a Whipple and an AFE intake. We added a DSX Aux fuel pump, and a smaller pulley, but we are running out of high side fuel on e85.
The owner of the car doesn't want to deal with meth as an added source of fuel, and he's wary of adding port injection to his existing setup. This leaves us with HPFP and Injectors. It seems like there is really only one option for the HPFP, and that is the one from Lingenfelter (or whoever makes it...), but there are some options when it comes to injectors.
The FIC injectors claim 30% more flow than the stock LT4 injectors, and the K-DI ones claim 52%, but cost another $1,000. Katech also sells a set that flow 30% more, but I suspect they are the same as the FIC. Does anyone here have any experience with any of these? Are the k-DI injectors worth the extra money? The goal is 700whp on e85, would the 30% injectors be enough? Could we do just the pump and not the injectors?
This is my first real foray into the high side fuel system on these engines. Educate me please.
Thanks
