    Segment swaps

Must be O/S dependent of course.

    Example:
Ability to swap in 4L80E Transmission & Transmission Diagnostic segments in place of 4L60E segments for guys that have smoked their 4L60E too many times.
Or swap in 6 liter code in place of 4.8 liter code.

I can do it in binary but it's slow, tedious, and error prone. Got gray hairs to prove it (oops, those are caused by my kids... )

I would also love to see something like this...
IF I knew how to do it I would be making files with swapped segments to share....but I dont know what stuff to change...even though I am good at binary edits

TTT I would like to see this as well, thanks.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    TTT

This is more important than many realize. It is becoming essential, and it's some thing that the competition has...

Its already in the main suggestion thread however it is not easy to impliment, would only be used by a small handful of customers and segment swapping isn't possible in most applications we support so its a very small segment, no pun intended, of the market that would even be able to take advantage of it.

If a customer needs a transmission segment swap for a 99+ LS1 application we can usually accomodate this on a case by case basis by contacting support.

We saw it as something of value, and implemented it last year...
Just wish we had the same inside info...

There are a few more than just folks wanting to swap transmissions. DBW to DBC conversion is popular in the offroad industry requiring a swap. and i've recently heard a solution to the 2003+ A/C request can be solved by a swap. Granted, i understand that general tuning is the majority of the customer base, but it would sure be appreciated by some! thanks.
