I just got the most recent update today. I plug the controller in and put the car in diagnostic mode, held start button down for 10 sec. HP Editor opens and see's its a 2017 z06 but says invalid controller. The hardware drop box is empty, so I manually pick E92 SIDI. I press read and next to E92 SIDI it just says "reading" and the status bar say's "requesting access"
It just sits there for ever, nothing happens.
Am I doing something wrong?
You need version 3.3 for 2017 vehicles. Please contact support.
It only has 3.2 as an option.

In another thread it states "that you must be connected to the internet" to tun a 2017 for the first time. What does that mean? I'm assuming we have to go somewhere particular or connect to something particular to make this work?
I don't understand why just being hooked to the internet does anything. An explanation?
I have a 2017 Grand Sport that came in for a supercharger yesterday.

You just have to be connected. I'm assuming it's connecting to HPT and doing something with the custom key that HPT is having to generated for each 2017 GM vehicle.
Regardless, just have to be connected for that part of the process to work
Did you see the rest of the instructions on how to get access to 2017's?
