How can I turn up my fuel rail pressure? 2011 Camaro SS

I have tried to turn up the fuel pressure from 58 psi to 70psi, however it seems the max it will go up to is 65psi. I went to Fuel Sys< Desired Fuel Pressure< and changed everything to 70psi. is there something I am missing? or is this the max PSI my fuel pump can go?

Also installed a ADM FPCM and ZL1 fuel pump.

You can raise pressure to a point t but if your pump lacks the volume required to Maintain the pressure it will not hold steady you probably will need to upgrade your pump and wiring harness to push a steady 70psi ,but what is reason for you to want to go that far

This is a built in limit of the fpcm. The adm fpcm is just a zl1 flashed module to my understanding anyways. I think dstek is the only one selling one that's completely max able.

The ZL1 FPCM for whatever reason won't allow more than 450kPa, regardless of what you ask for.

So I can't get any more pressure out of my pump then? What do I need to do? Or what kind of pump do I need

Sounds like the controller is the issue, not the pump

Why do you need higher than that?

I am losing rail pressure at around 10lbs or 165 kpa

bigger pump is needed. not more pressure. more pressure without volume is moot.

Ok now. If i compound my stock pump with an external pump and a manual fuel pressure regulator with a return line would that work?

Honestly, 750HP is about the absolute max on a ZL1 pump. At 10Lbs I'd think you are there if not above. I'd look into what's already available on the market. Andy at ADM used to make an in tank twin pump setup that was pretty nice. Also Fore makes a nice twin pump setup. Either one of those would be sufficient for your needs and they are Camaro kits...ready to install. Pretty easy and reliable.

Yeah, increasing pressure isn't going to help then, even if the FPCM would "try" to do it

I've never tried it with a FPCM, I've done Fore and Squash standalone systems on 5th gens before that obviously worked great. Maybe someone else here can comment.

How far is pressure dropping? And what's inj duty cycle looking like?

Fuel pressure drops 7 psi. The most the inj duty cycle goes is 68%

What problems would i run into if i run a piggyback pump after the stock pump?

I'd try lowering pressure then, duty cycle will go up some on the injectors but you have some room there. See what happens

I'm not sure how the FPCM will react with the second pump pushing pressure up. It may be fine, I'm just not sure. Dave or someone else may know
