    Exclamation TCM Adaptation procedure for a news trans in 05 Magnum

    Can the VCM suite perform the TCM adaptation procedure on an 2005 AWD Magnum RT when a new trans is installed?

    Time is of the essence here as I just finished installing a new trans and need my car back on the road tomorrow. So if someone can reply tonight I would greatly appreciate it.

    After discussing with a friend who is a Dodge tech and doing a little research I came to the following conclusion: It was the "Quick Learn" procedure I was asking about (to which I found the answer is "no" HPTuners does not have a quick learn function). This procedure uses the scan tool to erase the old TCM memory and is mainly to make the learn procedure quicker for the tech so they don't have to spend time driving the car around. And given that my old trans was not shot the old TCM settings should not be that far off. So I took it out for a drive gingerly and it shifted just fine. So I
