    first run 3-4 hesitation / abuse mode 6l80e

    so i have yet to find a solution or work around for this issue in some 6l80e transmissions. Some are pointing towards the hidden abuse/test mode for first start ups. Others "seem" to have found a fix, but aren't saying, or don't care. Is there a hidden abuse tab not listed in hp for such an issue? Or a work around for this fluid checksum of sorts?

    it could be for a G8, SS Sedan, vette, doesn't matter. They all fall victim for the first fire wot run to 4th hesitation on the 3-4 shift. Which is why a log or tune file was not posted as it does it stock, or modded. there have been threads about this, but not a viable solution to it.

    I get cha'. After a flash you always have to cycle the tranny through its gears before doing a WOT run. If not, it goes ape shit even in the 2/3 shift in my experience.

    it's not an after flash issue. this is the fun part. never flashed ecm/tcm do this as well every now and then. only time i see this issue is at the drag strip. which is the boggling part. Almost like a check test is run, or abuse mode is triggered for that first run.

    Can you get a log showing Trans input speed, pressures, output speed, and spark timing?
