Yeah I'm pretty sure the basic's haven't changed the help file www.hptuners.com/help has a guide on how to use RTT step by step.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

If you aren't running a gen 3 GM ECM then you won't have RTT. I've answered this on a few forums recently.. RTT does not exist for gen 4 or 5 GM's or any other OEM's

    Either.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

It's not available on every single operating system even if it's a GEN 3 computer.

If you don't see it listed in the OS tab, then you don't have it.

i doubt that is ever going to be a possibility. The "auto tune" features of aftermarket ecus function somewhat o.k. Because the ecus are extremely simplified. Think atari vs xbox. An aftermarket ecu simply targets a specific idle rpm, specific timing, and specific fuel. Oem ecus are extremely complex, with airflow modeling, torque modeling, etc. This would require a ton of dumbing down of the ecus, which kind of defeats the purpose.

Old thread I know, but curious how the OE calibrators do their spark hook tests on Gen IV/V when the ECM'S don't support real time tuning. I bet the capability is there, just locked up tight.

Rtt isnt a feature thats unlocked, its a feature that is added. Its a patch that is added into the code.

So why doesn't everyone add it? It would be a great tuning resource.
I thought the E67 didn't have the ability to get RTT.

no, and it likely never will be unless someone else outside of hpt creates coding to do it. Honestly with how easy the software is to use, there is no real need for rtt. Rtt doesnt do the work for you, you still have to tell it what to do.
