hey guys...as title states I purchased the cable from a buddy that had 2 spare credits on his cable...my laptop already had 3.0.80 software installed on it...when i hooked it up to the car/laptop it's saying "unlicensed interface"...just trying to find out what i've gotta do to update the interface (assuming still running 2.24) to the new 3.0.8 software...thanks!

For others, you add the new application key to your software. Version. 3.X will allow.you to.store multiple application keys...You may be asked to perform a firmware update depending on the gap between the mpvi unit and the software you are running.
