It will never be a instant shift, that isn't possible with this type of transmission. It takes time to select the next gear and more fluid around.
You can try and play with shift speed and pressure presets but you'll only get so far. This customer has to remember that this truck weighs 5,500lb still, going too quick will end up slamming gears and being all clunky/lurchy. A lighter car can get away with a little more because it doesn't have the mass behind it.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
