What adjustments were made for this? I'm guessing something to do with rev limiting and fuel cut?

it is all about timing as somebody said above. .i believe the idea is to back the timing in the low load zone to let the Fuel/Air mixture burn in the exhaust instead of combustion chamber. You have to make sure that you dont have the stock exhaust otherwise you may damage it.

be-careful with that. it is not something recommended.

ok, so what about the soft rev limiter? Let's say I have my limiter set to 3500rpm, can I disable the ignition or fuel cut for the rev limiter causing the
backfire or antilag? This way when hitting the rev limiter that's set it can do the popping then.
