2016 Z06 -- GT35 VVT Cam, Heads, Headers, lower pulley etc. ....LPE 750 package

This is our first project with cam and heads on a ZO6 and would like a little review to see how it is going. Interestingly, the starter tune I developed had the obligatory DD , Torque coefficient and Peak Torque changes but the setup really didn't like it...very slow throttle reaction, and no "UMPH" at at all. Went back to stock settings and it actually seemed to perform better, at least according to the log (see attached). Throttle and Boost levels seem in line. there is one small event at around 3500 rpm where it looks like the TB closes 10% for an instant, but returns.

We are still playing but figured an experts eye may see something we are missing. There is a bog at the beginning of the pull which we will attach in the am, but any insight would be appreciated. Also, let me know about the scanner and parameters....are there any good ones I am missing?

Thanks a bunch guys...not really comfortable yet with these new platforms :-(

Keep the Torque model as stock as possible and bump the peak torque table about 30-50 ft lbs only in the area where the throttle closes.

Dial in the VVE and MAF as completely as possible, don't just try to run MAF only.

Should be fairly simple/straightforward to dial in, that cam is what I will probably go with when I do one in mine. 210/237, still has negative overlap at .050 also.

There are still a couple things to be worked out in the scanner to get the Virtual Torque Editor in the Beta truly tunable and then it will be game on.

Thank you HB, just started with the MAF and will be dialing in the VVE next and then return to blended for delivery. Will give the peak torue a shot in the am as well.

Yeah, your Tq. sources are toggling right around that point, most likely once you fix that it'll keep it open.

n/m just realized this was a week old...

Thats ok, we had some software issues and other projects so we just go back to it. Tried increasing the peak Torque at the area's but didn't seem to help. Will post up latest files and logs in a bit.

    Thank you for your input

So I just keep hitting a wall on this project. just not getting the final puzzle part....Worked the throttle issue and see to have fueling/boost/ETC operate where they should but just can't find where I am losing the much needed timing...understand it is in the immediate torque limiting but am just missing the magic decoder ring answer :-(

Any hint or push would be appreciated at this point.....I have left the torque model stock at this point, not sure if that is correct or not!

Here are the latest tune files and logs with scanner .xmls

i have had to tweak the driver demand tables a bit on an e78 ecm to get the timing back up as it was pulled against this table for TM. never hurts to try
