Disable STFT on Cruze 1.6 (E83 PCM) ????

Hi all, I hope I am not doubling up on another thread, but I couldn't find anything that answered my question.

I want to disable closed loop fuel control on my Cruze for some tuning but I can only find settings to disable LTFT, I am not sure if I am missing something obvious or is there no way to disable STFT ?

I know I could disconnect the o2's but I would like to keep them in place, and so far the only way I have seen to do it is to use the commanded option to disable it in vcm scanner which obviously stops as soon as you turn the car off.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Set your closed loop enable coolant temp to something unobtainable like 290*

am I missing something here, LTFT enable temps are the only one I can see, and setting the min ltft temp to 120 degrees doesn't make a difference, I'm still seeing STFT's being changed.

I also maxed out the closed loop enabled delay table (32,000 seconds)

there is nothing in hpt or efilive to disable closed loop on these ecu's.

just stick with unplugging the the front 02 sensor is the only way.
