    Throttle body control on 2017 C7 Z06

What table/tables control the opening rate of the throttle body? At launch it takes to over 32 mph before the throttle plate is 100% open. Previous cars this happens almost instantly by 1 mph. You can definitely feel the hesitation at launch. I'm hitting the throttle hard too!

With delay up to 5000 rpm does seem quite high. Do you feel this is why throttle is so slow to WOT at launch?

PE mode has nothing to do with your throttle body opening quickly, lol.

Ford and Chrysler have criteria that allow you to alter the response rate of the throttle blade. I have not seen that in a GM tune. If there is a table for it, someone needs to give the ID to HPT so they can add it.

I was doubting slow going into PE the reason the throttle was so slow. All of the Electronic throttle controls show no indication of this hesitation. I like you believe we don't have the controls added to the file.

This hesitation has to be slowing my 60' time.

on stock tires it may just help keep the tires from blowing off......on drag tires, yes, it slows you down.....but it may save parts......

I'm all for saving parts but 32 mph until WOT is an overkill IMO. Maybe drop that to 10 mph or any mph just off of having gone WOT should ease the shock. My 08 C6 would go 100% WOT at launch and I never broke anything. But it did not have the power of this 2017 so some hesitation may be necessary.

I would think this control to be somewhere in the torque management settings of not in the electronic throttle settings???

If it does not affect the manifold pressure then dont mess with it.

Airflow > Electronic Trottle > Max % Area vs RPM

This is already set to 100 on stock C7 Z06s. Have you ever opened a Z06 file?

You might be able to reel some of this in with the torque tables.... Its all about torque!
