its the same as tuning any other VE table regarding process. All the information you need is posted already. Have you read it all and now have specific questions or are you looking for a tuning guide?
Just a quick guide
Have you VVE tuned your car???
Read this if you want to do it using fuel trims.

Search around if you have more questions, a lot of the stuff is already covered in the VCM scanner section for setting stuff up.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
Did you use the VE vs Trims or AFR?
I use both constantly. Trims for VE can take literally forever. You must use a wideband for PE areas (heavy load and WOT). Trims are great for verification and part throttle/idle areas but trims can be wrong if you have cam and long tubes, etc throwing off the readings.
It is best to use a wideband to tune your airflow models and then go back to closed loop and tune your closed loop system so the trims are where you want them without changing the airflow models again.
which sensor do you pick for gen 5. the vve virtual is rpm vs map/baro (pressure ratio) tried pressure ratio but does not seem to work
you need to make a pressure ratio calculation from map and baro
Higgs Boson, first off I would like to thank you for your contribution to this forum, you and others have really help. as for pressure calculation, I failed math in my younger days lol. any idea how to go about it. should I open a ticket with HP to add the calculation.
Cheers

guys care to share some of those pids? tried it via datalog i have and does not seem to work. possibility is i did not log the correct sensors . these new PCM rock. i have been logging almost everything under the sun and logging performance never seem to be effected.
just log Baro and MAP in the channels. try to use native pids with the single blue arrow in the channel/pid selection box.
go up to Math Parameters and make sure it's either pre-setup or set up the math for one in there with the exact same channel/pids you are using in the channel list.
then you can set up a Graph and use Pressure Ratio as the Y Axis for logging with the same values as your stock table in the VVE Editor.
Super helpful info. Thank you for posting this info. I was confused on the Y axis and this clears it all up for me
