Hey guys.
I got a buddy dropping an engine from a 01 truck into an older vehicle. Donor truck had a 4L80, new one is using a manual trans. Problem is it won't rev past 1400rpm. Checking things over, looks like I forgot to disable abuse mode. Is that all? He's going to have to ship it back to me, don't want to miss anything else.

If you can, do a segment swap with a manual file. That makes everything really easy, just have to get the VSS working.
If you can't do a segment swap, you should disable all transmission related DTC's, disable all abuse settings for engine and transmission.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
Well I've been looking everywhere I can to find a manual transmission with OS:12202088 or I can update with TIS to OS:12208322 so I can do a segment swap with no luck. Compared the abuse setting to some other Manual setups in the repository, will hope for the best, unless someone has one they want to share.
