Or just have one graphic with changeable rpm inputs that would then change the graphic to match that rpms designated numbers?

Yeah that would work too I think.. maybe just have 2 or 3 graphs and you can set the RPM for each of them to use

Maybe add a sine wave for crank angle (TDC thru BDC) using a dashed line, 50% opacity ???

Made a very minor change to the ect input - probably screwed something up, but I just made it to where you can input a number in one cell and it changes the rest... Tried playing with the visual a little - really screwed that up So I leave that to the pro...

OK injection timing at 6650 - can we do the axis like this - this would incorporate everything I think with crank rotation and piston position...

I know I'm nit picking crap now, but what about this?

I can always personalize it later - just thought the darker colors might stand out better with all of the white? Then line colors can be made whatever you like the best...

Peak Piston Velocity - that's ok - if you look a couple post back - I couldn't remember how to figure the boundary

Now for Sottt28 to possibly get it finished, because I only know how to screw things up in excel and he's done some pretty dang good work here

    Ah ok, good to know

Who did the black looking chart in the pictures? I like how that looks quite a bit better.. at least it isn't the regular vanilla looking Excel charts

I did, but I did my usual "caveman" approach and started clicking on anything and everything until menus popped up I like it that way too - stands out better and is more "visually" present "I think"...

How does anyone using excel not pull their hair out

I know Scottt28 could not only probably do this better, but probably a whole lot quicker than I...

Anyway - just took Scott's and added the black visuals in and changed the base axis to a crank degrees representation... If the links are broken - sorry, but it's my fault...

I think he'll have something a whole lot better for us though... Just a feeling I got

I've been lurking on this thread, making my own version of this to fit my build for when it's time to tune. As for graph views, here's what I've come up with. I think knowing the piston distance (and therefore velocity) is a good piece of information on this (think is the key word) so I added it in.

maybe this kind of graph Would be easier for visualization. I would need to clean up the inputs before I'll upload the .xlsx but if anyone wants it just let me know.

Don't know - I guess because I'm so used to the degree wheel, that the piston relationship in degrees below the cam points works better for me? I do like that you have all of the ppv's on yours - but this is only really needed for cam profiling... Just don't like the piston chart being on the cam chart? But that's me... You definitely know how to use excel better than I do

Was playing with yours Scottt28 - Is it possible to have soi come back on to the end of the chart in negative degrees relationship or is that going to be impossible? I just noticed that if the pw's are really high or you timing is advanced at all enough in the higher rpms to go to a negative relationship on the graph - it extends out the lefthand side of it and shows negative numbers... Not 100% necessary, but was just wondering...

Scottt28 - I also think I possibly broke your cam calculator? I input numbers and hit calculate, but it wasn't changing anything that I could tell I assume it's supposed to change the numbers up top? Will it also give you new numbers listed below it or is that just an example? Anyway - seems like I just screwed it up...
