    Air Fuel Error For Alcohol and Changing Stoichiometric Values

    Before anyone ask - this formula was created by Jslic or Scott and I did get permission to post this Works perfectly and gives identical errors to lambda for those out there who prefer watching air fuel values... Attached a picture demonstrating this... It's a long equation and probably better off just making things simple and using lambda, but I still prefer seeing actual air fuel values myself... This formula corrects for both double stoichiometric changes and constantly changing stoichiometric values created from running ethanol with an E85 sensor...

    100*(([50119.238]*((1-(([82.156]/2.45)/100))*14.68)) - ([50118.238]*((1-(([82.156]/2.45)/100))*14.68))) / ([50118.238]*((1-(([82.156]/2.45)/100))*14.68))

    50118 = EQ ratio commanded - lambda
    50119 = EQ ratio sensor - lambda
    82 = ethanol fuel percent - percent

    I'm using the AEM 30-0333's - you have to make sure to display them in air fuel ratio of 14.7 "gas" to get the regular air fuel readings in the channels - otherwise unless there is a revision to the scanner - it will not work for displaying afr anywhere else... Funny enough - you can then convert that to lambda anywhere else, but not vice versa? Not sure what all this math parameter will work with, but I imagine as long as your logging the correct stuff it should work fine...

    For your individual bank errors - just supplement out the EQ ratio sensor for the banks associated sensor designation

    wish u could cut/paste into the filter/maths inputs would make it so much easier

    Highlight / Control C to copy / Click where you want it to go / Control V to paste

    Most of the scanner is setup for keyboard shortcuts - wish it was simple right and left click, but oh well

    just tried it with a log since im already logging the parameters used and its spot on to my lambda error even with the currently small change in ethanol %
