Dodge Ram 6.7 2011 ECU does not answer after trying for read.

It's my first message.

I have a problem - after trying to read ECU on Dodge Ram 6.7 350 2011 - engine does not start.

I read this DTC's
U1601 - Restraint system dedicated bus #1 malfunction (Suppression system bus). ABS
C2206
C2202
U0100
U0141
U0102
U0415
U0100
U0141

What goes wrong? Please help me.

I just got my new MPVI2 this week for my 2011 RAM 5.7 and I get the same error about 3/4 the way through the scan. Did you ever get a solution?

Did anyone ever get any assistance on this? I just had the same problem when trying to read a 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 6.7L Diesel. I did not try to write anything to the ecm, only tried to read and it failed part way through and now the ECM has no communication. I had to pull the ecm and hook up on the bench to retrieve code U1601.

The same problem. Tried to read RAM 2011 and it shows sign that I need to turn off key and on, after that pcm doesnt read. U1601 ECU application software code 1 Missing or corrupted. Tried to connect with witech 2.0 but it doesnt read too((

Isn’t there a thread in the diesel section about bricking dodge diesels by trying to read em w HPT?

I don’t do diesel but I heard no one is plugging a 2 or 3 into a dodge diesel bc of this

I found out, yes, the ecm is done for. I'm sure there are other ways, $1800 for ECM and stock flash. There are no warning signs. IT WILL BRICK just by reading.

It's not just 2 or 3, I used MPVI1.
