    shooting flames

    hello everybody how are you



    2016 gmc sierra 5.3 v8 the exhaust is staright pipe for offroad use i need it to shoot flames while bouncing of the rev limiter in park and neutral at 6000 rpm how can i do that i saw a tuner do it but wont tell me the way i usually do it on 2007-2013 by disable ETC rev limit and enable spark rev limiter waiting for an answer

    Actually in DI engine not like before where the port Injector can throw unburn gas, u can play on DFCO and EOI to get flames

    you can't adjust EOI on these cars. look at the description, the EOI tables are for Split Pulse which is only active during startup.

    ok for the EOI which table fuel should i adjust can someone tell me exactly

    EOI split base
    EOI split catlightoff
    EOI split idle

    and what should i do

    As stated - you can only adjust SOI... You can adjust SOI to inject as the exhaust valve is open, but this is INCREDIBLY stupid as your going to strain the fuel system, damage exhaust components and on and on... I mean come on - why would anyone want to do this?

    ok i know people dont like this thing but please can someone tell me how to do it in SOI base ? so that at the cutoff 6000 rpm it shoot flames

    ok then, in all seriousness:

    do you understand the interplay between injection timing, valve timing, and spark timing?

    are you familiar with how direct injection works?

    how much re-calibration experience do you have?

    are you looking at the tune file with a blank stare and hoping someone will tell you which table to change and how to change it to get your car to shoot flames on the rev limiter?

    yup i know the difference between the new direct injection engine and the old 2013 and down engine

    re-calibration 1 and half years in 2007-2013 trucks but 2014-2017 about 3-4 months

    to make it shoot flames you need

    ETC disabled
    Spark enabled

    6000 extreme
    5950 resume

    DFCO disabled
