Getting detect protocol failed when trying to read this computer
when i unplug power then it says power not detected, tried two diffter suites and 3 different computers
any idea what to try next? not getting the right volts or amps effect it?

Can you provide more information? Car type, VCM Suite version? Is the battery fully charged in the car? 12.8-12.9 volts resting with surface charge removed?

the pcm is inside on my table, its an 0411 from a silverado. using a 12v 1 amp power adapter. i know its powering he pcm because obd2 port works for other stuff, but editor wont read... i am going to get a battery and bring it inside it nmight be my power adapter
