    Turbo Tuning without Enhancement Options

    Very limited tuning experience.

I want to turbo my 5.3L swapped 2008 Colorado. I have no idea where to start since the tunes I need to start with, is a 2008 H3 5.3 or the 2009 Colorado 5.3. Unfortunately, neither of these tunes have the options for Speed Density enhancements.

So how do I go about tuning for boost?

Use the built in VVE editor. You can change the axis to support up to 2 or 3 bar MAP sensors.

Change the MAP linear/offset settings to support your new MAP sensor and change anything else related to the parts and fuel you want to run and start tuning away.

You should be able to keep the MAF sensor if you want to on a GEN 4 computer no problem. If it has a card style MAF they can handle a bunch of airflow depending on tube size.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Thank you for that info. Would this be considered knowledge? I tried searching around but couldn't find any info on this topic. Is there somewhere I could read up more on it?

There are some how to threads in the scanner section that should help get started. Link below.

And you can use a MAF in boost too if you want. It doesn't care.. it just sees airflow.
Post a log and tune if you want help
