Im new to hp tuners although not new to tuning. Im trying to get ignition timing right on a factory xr6 turbo with just a cold air intake.
My problem is no matter how much timing i pull out knock retard is there i cant seem to pin point what is real and false knock.
Im running a lot less ignition timing from factory although i have increased boost to 11-12 psi.Possibly to high for factory exhaust system ? I have disabled all compensations just if i can pick out knock . Stil there im down to 9 degrees peak torque to about 15 at 5000rpm.i cant log load i know there is a formula but no sure on what the formula is.
Afr target 11.5 whats my best option on the road. Going to get the car on a dyno soon to make it easier to pick up knock.
