    Windows 7

How long will HP Tuners work on Windows 7?
Don't know how many new version upgrades of HPT will be able to continue to work on the older versions of Windows.
I need to get another laptop and as much as I hate PC computers it would suck to spend money on something I wont use, other than for HP Tuners of course.

I'm still using XP with it, so likely alot longer with windows 7 lol.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

I wouldn't worry too much about Win7 support; Microsoft will be supporting the tools that allow HPT to run on Windows 7 until at least mid-2020. If you're that worried about it, look for a laptop with Windows 10.

XP isn't support. Our software might work on XP now, might not. If it does, it could stop working at any point.

Windows 7 will be supported for some time.

When you say you hate PC computers I assume you mean you prefer Apple products? It runs in a VM just fine. No need to buy a machine with windows 7 just for HPT. I run HPT on a windows 7 VM with virtual box(free) on my Macbook pro. You could also take the route of dual booting a mac and boot directly into windows for use with HPT if you prefer not to use the VM option.

What about Windows 10? Does 3.6.2x run ok with the Win 10 OS?

Windows 10 is the recommended OS for VCM Suite.
