those 5 are for downshifting in manual mode and the same 5 tables located in non aggressive shift maps are the upshift side. notice how far apart the oos rpms are. in manual mode coast to a stop without downshifting, that's when those tables are used. same for the upshift side. use the paddles and hit the limiter it will shift for you in relation to what those oos rpms are set to and your max rpm tables. Trust me i mess around with those tables all the time. or just try it yourself. hint: If i want to disable MDS on the trans side i will put a regular shift pattern like shift pattern 5 in pattern 28 on both tables which is m-gate manual mode with the shifter and it will deactivate MDS in that mode . downside is you will lose the ability to control the shift because it adopts pattern 5's shift properties.
