    what is the APP system?

    neighbors car threw the code, its an 05 grand prix, just wondering what the heck it is lol

    Sweet, two "systems" to replace a cable-in-jacket.
    And already the one end-ball is toast. Now -that's-
    a better mousetrap.

    I wonder what the software equivalent of cross-
    drilling a junk-can bolt and clamping it down with
    a nut and washer is.

    There will obviously be a strain gauge involved as well as as a complex algorithm to prevent over & under strain. Not to mention the anti-tamper security seed & key routine probably 448 bit blowfish encoded.
    Then there is the stepper motor control and algorithm to obtain the correct positioning. Plus the blowfish encoding to prevent tampering....
