    2004 pcm with 4l80 tables to 4l60

A friend of mine with a 2004 suburban 5.3l/4l60 pulled the motor, pcm, and wiring harness. Replaced with 6.0l motor, pcm and wiring harness from 2004 Sierra 6.0l/4l80e.

Had a local tuning friend come over to do the pcm trans swap. Said he did an overwrite to a 2004 Tahoe. According to my Snapon scanner it still reads 2004 Sierra 6.0l.

Only major issues transmission side is trans hot comes on at 177F and won't shift past 2nd gear. Lockup up is commanded, but i dont feel it doing it. Did some wiring pinout it changes.

Should a segment swap have been done? How can the trans hot parameter be changed to say 200F or just turned off?

He likely did a segment swap from a tahoe, to get the 4l60 stuff. Or atleast tried to. Trans hot can be set to whatever you want. Its usually like 285 stock, i usually lower to 245. Pin out is different to go from 80e-60e trans. You have to swap 1 pin and add 2 extra circuits. One is for 3-2 sequence valve solenoid, the other is for twc solenoid. What i usually do is use the wires from the front input speed sensor, repin them at the ecu, then extend them and add them to the trans harness connector.

Tuner stopped by today and fixed the over temp and now the gas gauge is working correctly as well.

Just need to make sure the pinout for the torque converter are correct. Could you tell me which pinout you swapped?
