using a 2010 E67 Colorado file for VVT motor, and gauges to work. running a 2010 6.0L VVT, with 2002 4L80E. The 2009 express van 4L80E T42 file sets no codes, put puts the trans in limp mode. There is something in the code that was changed in 2010 linking the pcm/TCM together. a 2009 E67 communicates just fine no limp mode with the express van TCM. If I use a 2010 T42 4L60E (all settings copied over with hpt compare) TCM file Doesn't get limp mode, but the TCC lockup isn't working right?

On a 4L60E the I.S.S is wired differently to T42 low ref goes to a different pin, then the 4L80E I.S.S. Why is this, what's different between the two, is one a/c, and one dc??

currently I have the 4L80E and T42 wired exactly like a 2009 express van 4L80E.

here are a few key differences between a 2010 4L60E, and 2002-2009 4L80E:

4L60E doesn't use the pressure manifold switch gm circuits 1224, 1225, 1226. and the 4L60E has 422 TCC solenoid valve control. The I.S.S low ref goes to a different pin, on the TCM. There is an internal range switch, and no external range switch.

4L80E uses the pressure manifold switch1224, 1225, 1226. doesn't use the 422 TCC control. The I.S.S low ref goes to pin 26 on the T42. It uses a external range switch, thee isn't an internal range switch.

What to do??
