    E38's computers are can-bus.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

So after reading all of this I have come to the conclusion that the 30-0334 CANNOT be used on a 2003 through the OBD2 port? If so I have wasted some money and alot of time. I had the 0441 and logged it through the egr. But it came to be a large problem with math trying to get it to create some graphs that I wanted and purchased this because by reading the description (and the instructions) it makes it seem as tho it will do both.

2003 vehicles do not have CAN based ECUs. So, the OBDII interface will not work, there. You need to use the analog outputs.

You will need to add the pins to the connector, for this. Or, move/reuse the CAN wires.

If you have a 2008 or later vehicle, it almost always works, unless the ECU ID that it uses is already in use by another device. In which case, you need to change the ID in the gauge's UI. You can see which CAN IDs are in use in the scanner's info log.
