Kind of confused between RaceRender and Track Addict

I have a Gopro Hero 3 and an Android. I want to record video with speed and track info overlay for go karting.

So i could buy Racerender to have the ability to overlay the information on video and use Track Addict to obtain the information?

Correct. You will connect the phone with the GoPro through wifi (your GoPro must have wifi) and your phone will; a) collect data through its internal GPS and accelerometers, and b) will start the GoPro at the same time data collection begins so when you merge the two files in Race Render they will be aligned.
