Whipple issue at 5300 rpms... tb just closes.

OK escalade made 565/573 no issues to 6k rpms.

Added meth and when using meth got 598 ft lbs of tq but at 5200 to 5300 it just closes the tb. Truck made 580 rwhp when tb closed so im sure another 800 rpms would be around 615 rwhp. It's making more power overall.

Did few passes no other issues just at that same rpm tb just closes.

Turned off meth and put in premeth tune and no problems truck went up to 6k rpms no issues.

    16 escalade
    Whipple 2.9
    7.5 psi boost
    Long tubes
    3.5 cat back

    No other mods except meth

    Anyone have any ideas?

Hey Tony, can you post your the tune and a log from the event? I know your not the only one who has experienced this, but I don't see how the meth would play into it. Did you break out the IAT and baro?

Some torque issues here, post a tune and log and you will get this sorted easily.
