Same here. I have a GL550 that I want to upgrade but would prefer not spending $2500 on an ECM.

any updates? the ME's are pretty much the same, MED 17.7.3 on W212 E 550. would be nice if hp tuners allowed us to unlock, makes me want to just continue using KTAG and avoid all the extra hassle. also want to know if the "unlock" allows modification of the ecu coding without seed key to disable eco start stop, etc.

Our solution allows for OBD2 tuning once unlocked. You don't have to take the ECM appart every time.

We will probably add 550 support soon.

Also we may add the start/stop coding feature to scanner for MPVI2 soon. This alone does not require unlock.
