2006 GTO and 3000 TCI stall on the dyno

i have an automatic 2006 gto that has a cam, exhaust, and a 3000 TCI stall. i'm going to the dyno next week for a tune and i'm just wondering how do you lock in a 3000 torque converter on the dyno with an automatic? also is it safe to do? i been reading that it can cause slippage to the converter and potential burn it out. So what do you guys recommend me doing just pulling with it unlocked or locked.

You can use the VCM Scanner to lock the converter. I hope you have a triple disk converter or else youre gonna burn the lockup clutch up.

no it's a single disk clutch. OK so don't lock it up then?

Nope. I wouldn't lock it up. Unless you wanna buy a new converter

Street converter lockups are designed for towing and cruise, not WOT. Unless you have a specific race application for it plus big clutches/multi-discs, keep it unlocked at WOT

Exactly, and possibly a new trans once the fluid is contaminated! The filter catches many particles but can still clog up. Heavily contaminated fluid can also break down to the point where it longer lubricates correctly.
