I had to buy a new laptop for tuning, so I did and installed v3.6 of the VCM suite. But now when I go to save the tune file it fails with a message that says "Polling Failed". I've verified that the USB cable is OK and the permissions of the VCM install directories are correct.
I do see the green "Power" and red "Err" LED's are lit, does that indicate a problem with my MVPI?

Error light would indicate a firmware update issue, I would recommend contacting support at hptuners.com

Thanks Bill, sent an email to support yesterday, no response as yet. Why is it that a firmware update failure renders the unit unusable? The v3.6 software forced the update but then turned it into a brick; that's about as bad as it gets for a software company.
Where do I send the unit for repair?
