    Security Request Time Out Error

    I have a new 2018 GMC Sierra truck and I'm trying to do a read entire for the first time. I keep getting this Security Request Time Out Error.
    Suggestions?

    You will need the new beta software and follow the instructions found in the gen5 forum for unlocking

    Still no joy. These are the only instructions I found in the Gen 5 Forum:

    Please note the following updates to the process for tuning 2017+ GM Vehicles:

    Step 1: Download and install the latest VCM Suite 3.6 update available on your customer page
    Step 2: Connect the vehicle and read it.
    Step 3: IF you receive a message that the vehicle can't be read at this time and to try again. Please wait at least 30 minutes and then try to read the vehicle again using VCM Suite 3.6.


    I downloaded 3.6.26, but when I run it, the Read Entire function is gray'd out. I can, however, connect with the scanner and capture a log file.

    What am I missing?
