'05 3.5 i5 Canyon 4L60E custom tune help!
Hello everyone!
My truck is a 2005 Canyon 4x4 w/i5 and some mods.
Looking for some advice on tuning around my built 4L60E.
Just had the transmission pulled and rebuilt. Details;
B&M 14,400 BTU Plate Cooler
B&M External Filter Mount
AC Delco Remanufactured (stock) Torque Converter with EC3 PWM clutch material & Stock Stall
Sonnax Performance Pack HP-4L60E-01
*Pinless Aluminum Dual Gasket Accumulator Pistons (3 positions)
*1-2 Accumulator Valve Shim
*Boost Valve with O-Ring .490"
*Elevated Pressure Regulator Spring
*High RPM Pump Slide Spring
*Servo Release Check Valve
Transgo Separator Plate
*3-2 Shift Drilled to .093"
*2nd clutch drilled to .086"
*3rd clutch drilled to .086"
*4th clutch drilled to .093"
*AFL Balance Oil drilled to .052"
TeckPak Fixer TCC repair valve
Superior Shift Super Billet Servos (All)
*KO12
*K034
13 vane pump rotor and vane kit.
Borg Warner 29 element forward sprag
Borg Warner low / reverse roller clutch
#11CF Alto carbon fiber Power Band
Alto Red Eagle master rebuild kit
Beast Shell
New input shaft & drum using the 2008+ 4L60E design
Engine has;
CAI
Ported TB
EFan
Header (no 1st cat)
Magnaflow high flow 2nd cat
Magnaflow cat-back
Already running a HPTuners 91+ tune, but the custom internals on the transmission make this a special case.
I want 100% of Torque Management removed, and also want shift times all set to 0 and the governor removed.
The torque converter I used has clutch material for ec3 pwm, and operating it at full lock 24/7 will toast it. Looking for advice on TCC settings as well.
I don't tow much, truck doesn't have a tow/haul selector, also no traction control. I like to be cruising at 72mph at around 1700-1800 RPMs in 4th, 63MPH at around 1500. It will hold.
Motor redlines at 6300, 3.73 gears with 33" tires.
Advice is welcomed and appreciated!!

Just talking to someone who tunes these suckers and he said if you set the shift timing to 0 it locks something and to set at .150 to be safe? True?
