customer just put in a 4l80 instead of the 60 in an 02 Silverado 1500. Can someone refresh my memory on doing the segment swap for that. The ecm is repined with the nelson harness. under the trans tab, I can select a 4l80 but I don't remember it being as simple as just doing that (probably been 5 years since I tuned a 80 swap) thanks in advance
There is a built in segment swapper with 3.6 software. There is a how to thread on it somewhere telling you what to do. You'll be swapping the entire transmission and transmission diag tabs from a OS that is the same as the 1500 file to make it work.
Just changing the drop down menu to 4L80e will do nothing.
