    2007 TT vette low pwr

Car is a 2007 manual C6 with built 390 and 62 mm turbos on 93 and direct port meth into intake and one nozzle before IAT. I sold turbos to him and made 1269@22lb on my 427 setup E85. Hes only making 893@22lbs. I'm seeing tons of timing taken out of tune and he has knock on the log and only making 12.5lbs. They say he made 22 on the dyno but don't have log. His IATs are also crazy high when cruising. Same style intercooler I had with high IATs but not anywhere like this. He says the ambient was not 108 for some reason it is reading too high as well. He says it was really 80s outside. I'm thinking the low hp is from the low timing and maybe the meth needs to be dialed back and add more fuel where it knocks. His IDC is nowhere near limit on his small pull at end of log.

Good thing he's got a manual trans, because he would be putting a transmission in shortly with that tune... Tell the shop that tuned it to scale the injectors via double stoichio/half IFR method. Reasons why it's not making boost is that it's way too lean to have any heat to spoil the turbos and timing is wrong to spoil the turbos. AND who knows the boost controller may be setup wrong too? All I saw was 12psi peak in that log at redline...

Copy that. He wants to try to fix it himself cause he feels tuner just doesn't want to take the time. We need to start all the way over with new tuner you think or can we do some stuff to fix it ourselves?

Your going to be changing everything anyway, so up to you whether to modify tables in it or not?

That AFR on the tables is incorrect I don't know why it says 10.1 the whole way he didnt even have a AFR guage hooked up HP tuners during log. He's gonna get me one tonight with it hooked up. It was commanding a 11.39 AFR.

Barber's right - I didn't even look at the O2's - just glanced at the afr while in the pull and looked at what the tune is commanding - should have known better... That thing is dangerously lean - don't run it in boost...

So I now I'm confused. Once agin there is no AFR guage hooked up on this run at so I don't know how you are looking AFR.....The only thing AFR wise is going to be commanded 14.6 which is stoich and also he commended of 11.39 when he goes into OL and PE. Also once you go into OL the O2s are off so don't know why you are looking at O2s. IS there something I'm missing? Have yall even looked at the tune? It looks like its to reliant on the meth and way to much timing being taken out. Thanks again for input.

larry-vette2007-log2(AFR).hpl HERE is an actual run with AFR. I asked him to do a 4th gear pull from 60 o redline but he didn't under boost it does go to around commanded AFR.

You can always use O2's for direct reference of burnt fuel - should be above 900mv with an afr in the 11's. In the 12's In this log is far from what's being commanded and further more that first log had better pulls and had the O2's going down below 100mv when it was not building boost or pulling correctly... Are you even sure the wideband currently being used is good enough to trust?
