    Cobra Jet MAF transfer

    I am going to install a CJ cold air intake on a whipple vehicle, and I am curious if anyone has the MAF data?

    Part of me says it should be the same or similar to the Whipple calibration, which uses a same 123MM MAF and would be logical is similar to the CJ.

    You could always scale the MAF up by using the equation in the MAF calibration thread. Then adjust using LTFT+STF(assuming all injector and fuel pressure data is accurate). That should get you pretty close to +/-5%

    Thanks, that was my original plan, but since they are both 123MM I think I will just start with the Whipple calibration and go from there.

    That should work fine as a base...

    What about the 2016 CJ calibration file that's in the repository?

    The M-9600-SCJ16 is 140mm at the MAF sensor location. I want to use that with the Whipple Stage II. So my math would be:

    Whipple Radius= 123mm/2 61.5mm
    Cobra Jet Radius= 140mm/2 70mm
    Area of circles= Pi(61.5mm)2 Pi(70mm)2
    Area= 11882.28881 15393.80400

    Area of WS MAF 11882.28881
    Area of SCJ MAF 15393.80400

    Ratio of new to old area 15393.80400 / 11882.28881

    Ratio of WS area to SCJ area= 1.295525150595965

    Multiply all of the lb/min airflow values in the MAF curve by 1.295525150595965

    Thanks @AKDMB
