    Turbo 3v Variable Camshaft

At one kind of power do you guys typically stop using variable camshaft on the 3v? I'm pretty new to the 3v but tuning one now and I remember reading something about having issues with the variable camshaft settings and much power. Cam angle is jumping around and not getting to desired at only 10 psi and we're still turning this one up a bit.

I'm guessing there isn't even much benefit to retarding the cam after spooling with a turbo engine anyways right? Not ideal either but the engine still has Comp Stage 2 NA cams.

I still use the variable cam timing on 500 & 600 rwhp blower 3V mustangs with stock cams and with aftermarket cams.

Then again I've had a few NA cars come in that wouldn't hold cam angle at high rpm. They probably needed new phasers but in the customer declined to do anything with it since it only happeded at 6500 rpm+.

This one was all over the place even cruising around and making it drive strange. Disabled Variable Camshaft and it went away.
