Using a Version 3 Scanner, I can set up a gauge showing my Transmission Temperature on my 2008 Chevy Trailblazer SS.
Is there a way to find out the PID number and OBD2 parameters that the Scanner used to access this manufacturer specific parameter?

Following...
PID 1940 TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE
?C = N - 40
This is non-defaulted direct sensor readings.
Or you can just sniff CAN for message $4C9. Second byte is failsafe Trans Temp with the same convertion as PID.
