I wanted to start a thread to see how other people are using HPT when they scan and tune their car. Below is my setup.
Surface Pro 4
HPtuners Standard
Innovate LC-2 Wideband (currently in stock exhaust in o2 bung after cats)
USB 3.0 Hub - used to connect the WBo2 and Hptuners interface to SP4 at the same time.
Flat USB 3.0 extension cable (3ft)
Home made HPTuners cable that I keep in car 100% of the time.
Serial to USB adapter - https://www.amazon.com/TRENDnet-Conv...=serial+to+USB
This is the mount I used. Prime shipping wasn't available but it got to my house in VA from Germany in 1 week. Overall I'm happy with this mount, I wish the mounting arm to backplate had more adjustment options because the Surface Pro 4 is pretty big and almost blocks your view unless you modify it to sit lower on the arm.

The USB hub is in the center console. I have the serial cable running along under the center console to the USB serial adapter which is plugged in to the USB hub. The homemade HPT cable also follows this path. I have a USB cable that is plugged in to the USB hub and then in to the HPT interface. I keep the interface between the seat and center console when driving so it doesn't slide around. The USB extension cable runs from the hub to the SP4.
Ive attached a few photos. Everybody else show your setup!
Disregard the purple USB cable... That was for when I had a cell phone mounted there.
Car is a 2005 GTO A4.
