    Timing issue. Turbo C6

I need to compare spark tables with something of similar mods or maybe someone could point me in the right direction.

    My Car:
    '08 C6 LS3
    FIC 1000
    KB BAP
    TSP Boosted stage 3 cam
    TR6 plugs gapped to .022
    Rear mount s476
93 pump gas (Meth not activated yet until spark issue fixed)

I hope you don't go out and run that at wot with 34 degrees of timing. I'm not the guy to tell you how to set your timing, but I have never seen a boosted stock block LS3 run that much timing.

This is what I need help with.. what is an avg time for a boosted car?

How much boost? Stock short block? start low and work up as you start getting things dialed in. Low is relative to boost level but I would start around 10-12 on pump gas and work from there.

Here is a tune from the repository for a 2009 Holden 6.2 turbo. Look at the timing table and take about 3 degrees out of the wot area to start (where it says 15 degrees) and smooth it out. If you are going to be driving it around a lot, make the low octane table about 4 degrees lower than the high table so if it knocks, this will pull some timing for you. Then post a log of what you did. Take it easy first as I have no idea what your fueling looks like.

I have a 10lb spring in the wastegate. I have an electronic controller but all its functions are turned off.

Yes it is the stock short block.

I will redo it all and start low.

They make the part throttle fueling a lot smoother. If you street drive this, they need to be fixed. A lot of guys turn off the rear o2's but not the fronts.

I gotcha. i think i have a spare in the garage somewhere.. but you think spark and fueling is alright to make some wot pulls. I usually get this shutter under boost after about 3psi.

Wait until some of the more experienced tuners check out your tune.

Do as Lakegoat said and fix your O2's. Your VE table needs work - leaning out pretty bad during tip in and other areas. The spark table from the repository has the air model scaled differently which is why it nose dives in the lower airmass areas, so don't just copy and paste it. You don't want to start with much over 10 degrees - make sure the lower octane table is lower then you'll probably wind up around 14 or 15 when done on 93...

Might want to open your plug gaps up to .028" or .032" too - will help ignite better...

    2011 Vette Cam Only Internal Mod in stock LS3 -- YSI @ 18psi - 811rwhp on 93 / 926rwhp on E60 & 1008rwhp with a 50 shot of nitrous all through a 6L80
