    KR warning?

    Has anyone hooked up a custom output to signal you when knock is occuring? I was thinking about either putting an LED light on the output or a buzzer. Can it be run directly off the output or do you need to trigger it with a relay?

    I think this would work:

    Enable
    [PID.2630]>0.1 (2 frames required)

    Disable
    [PID.2630] = 0.0 (20 frames required)

    LED works perfect...

    you need to be sure whatever you do..it doesnt draw more than 200ma max and you should go buy a fuse for it as well to play it safe

    So are there buzzers out there that will draw less than 200ma?

    I used to be able to hear knock on all my other cars, especially chevy 350's. The LS2 I have, I can't hear it. When I do think its rattling, I look over and there is no knock showing up. Sometimes i look over and there's knock when I don't think there should be. LOL. That's why I want something audible. I have my eyes busy when I'm WOT.

    What about this:

    I would run a relay off of the EIO and have the relay power up the accessory. If not Radio Shack, other electronics store should have buzzers loud enough. Heck try Home Depot or Lowe's.
