Editing Video Files

Sometimes I forget to end the TA session, and I get an extra 15 minutes of video by the time I get to my spot and park the car. What would happen if I chopped off those extra 15 minutes of the video (video uses a LOT more memory)? I suppose the session would run until it got to the end of the video, then it would get out-of-sync with the log and crash, no?

If you have a way to trim only the end of the video in place, without affecting the start timing or anything else, then this should be possible. Obviously, your actual results will depend on the software that's used to modify the video file. If done properly, the in-app video player would just end when it reaches the new end of the video file, while the entire data length would still remain intact (visible on the lap/run detail screen).
