    2013 Gmc sierra tranny swapped to a 2012...need help!!!

    So this truck comes back for a retune for shift pressure. I try to flash....engine does....transmission doesn't...turns out now is blank...no parameters no nothing for transmission...theres no light indicator for prndm indicator and stars off on high gear and dont lock converter....he swapped from his stock 2013 to a 2012. Not really informed for how to's on this and im not really an expert on real deep tuning..just the basics....just looking for help to resolve this problem. Anything at all is appreciated. Thanks

    If the TCM inside the 2012 6L80e is different, then that would explain it.

    Meaning if he didn't re-use the TCM out of the 2013, that is why it won't write.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    You can try a write entire on the 2012 transmission if you still have the original 2013 TCM file. However, if the TCM is indeed blank or brand new from GM, you will probably need factory GM software to flash the TCM with the correct software first.
